Ivan Perez is a latinx South Central Los Angeles born and raised freelance cinematographer. A graduate from California State University Northridge with a BA degree in Cinema and Television Arts with an emphasis in Multimedia Production. Ivan takes pride and joy in creating content and sharing stories about his community and of people from similar diverse backgrounds. During his studies at CSUN, Ivan was drawn into the world of film because of his realization of the lack of representation in front of and behind the camera. He has taken it upon himself to collaborate and create with other artists within his community. This is all in hopes of establishing a network which will give back to South Central and neighboring communities alike by making voices heard, teaching others the craft, creating an outlet for creativity, and inspiring others to pursue their passion.
